The official opening ceremony was carried out on Sunday 20th May 2018.  More than 100 people turned out to mark the opening of the newly equipped play are which also now includes adult fitness equipment.

The event was opened by Mrs Margaret Stone, chairman of Norfolk County Council and Mr John Overton, chairman of South Norfolk Council.  Members of the parish council were thanked for their hard work in                                                                                     obtaining funding and carrying out the project. 

The sunshine on the day was an added bonus and the ice-creams were most welcome.  People enjoyed themselves.

A “Times Gone By” exhibition was held at the same time and proved to be a success and attracted a large number of visitors.
